When travelers first think of Miami, no doubt the colorful image that comes to mind is Ocean Drive. Lined with quaint, pastel-hued Art Deco buildings and hotels, restaurants that spill out onto the streets, festive travelers, boutique beach shops and more, this oceanfront street is the place to go for a quiet cup of coffee, an oversized margarita and some excellent people-watching. It only makes sense that such a beautiful destination has served as the backdrop for some of Hollywood’s most iconic films and TV shows, like Scarface, The Birdcage, Miami Vice, Reno 911: Miami, Bad Boys, There’s Something About Mary, Dexter, Burn Notice, Magic City and Moonlight. The easternmost street in South Beach stems from south 1st St to 15th St. Ocean Drive is responsible for the South Beach aesthetic that visitors expect. It is a popular Spring Break and tourist area. It’s also home to several prominent restaurants (including "News Cafe," "Mango's," and the MTV- popularized "Clevelander") and is the site of Gianni Versace's former ocean front mansion.
