Ounasvaara winter trail is an accessible walking path about 1.6 km from city centre to the east. Go and have a nice winter walk in absolutely beautiful snowy scenery. No special gear needed, just warm clothes and proper winter shoes.

Nice walk in the boreal forest with a chance of spotting reindeers, grill a sausage on fireplaces and catch some nice views over the city and surrounding.
