To arrange a guided tour you can visit the main office or just grab the bus from the stop nearby and explore on your own.

I love this botanical garden. The drive there is significant, maybe an hour and a half? because it is located south of Vallarta, but the drive to Mismaloya is stunning and it makes you think you are in Jurassic Park. The gardens have a restaurant and you can hike down to the river to swim. There are droves of hummingbirds and many special specimen plants.
