Located right down the road from Prairie Island Bungalow, the campground and park offers free live music during the summer, local food trucks, the famous Boats and Bluegrass music festival, a great playground and sand volleyball court, and a free 15 hole disc golf course! Mountain biking, hiking, cross country ski and snow shoe trails are also located within the park.

On the weekends from late spring to early fall, Prairie Island Campground offers a Campfire Concert Series on the weekends. There is also a fabulous disc golf course which begins near the camp store. They also rent out canoes, kayaks and paddleboards while conditions are safe for a Mississippi River paddle. Our favorite backwater paddle through Blackbird Slough, launches from there. Inquire at the camp store for guiding services and equipment rental.

Visitors are welcome to rent paddle craft, take in a yoga class on Saturday mornings at 8:30 am, or enjoy live music on the community garden patio. Visit the website and check out the calendar of events.
