WAT SILA NGU Wat Sila Ngu, also known as Wat Ratchathammaram, seems quite impressive and unusual to say the least. Compared to other temples, it is distinguished by its red brick color. The entrance to the Viharn is guarded by a giant warrior and a Naga snake. Inside, walls are decorated with the same monochrome reliefs in red bricks of religious subjects, including the famous God Ganesh, with an elephant head. According to legend, the temple would retain a relic of the Buddha. The building is often used as a backdrop for television and film shoots.

Also known as the red temple, this is the closest Wat to our resort. Walk down the snake staircase to the beach
