Place to shop
Great boutiques and high end chain stores! It'd fun to browse the shops on Fillmore. I'll let you be the judge!
Starting at Post Street, heading North or East, there are plenty of high end and budget-friendly restaurants and shops, including a couple thrift stores and grocery stores. Several ice cream shops and bakeries as well.
Think of Jazz. Now think of good food. High end boutiques. You have it all there - specially between Bush and Jackson Street

“Between Filmore and Divisadero, nice food, bars, shops and probably the highest number of yoga pants in the whole city in any given day.”
“This upscale street is lined with shops, restaurants, and bars. Fun to explore, have lunch, and make friends.”
“Lots of Chinese people still live in Chinatown, but a huge number have moved out to the Sunset district near Ocean Beach. Some of the best Chinese restaurants in town are strung out along this commercial street in the Sunset. Check out Oriental Seafood Restaurant, Cheung Hing for take out. There are lots of others, and lots of local color.”
“The Vogue theatre is more than a place to watch a movie. It was built in 1901, and more than 100 years later, it still thrives as SF's most charming single-screen cinema for big releases. You can also see foreign flicks, and, of course, the requisite midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show. Best place for a rainy day.”
