Smart country pub, lovely bar area and their eating areas are very attractively set out. Very good food, more sophisticated menu than most.

This is the trendy drinks and food place locally. Lovely mix of different dining areas from cosy bar, through fire-warmed sitting room to modern glass dining area. Prices to match London ones. Food quality mainly good but inconsistent.

Our favourite local pub. Book ahead for food or just relax in the beautiful gardens with a drink and plenty of space for kids to run around. There are also wonderful walks from here around the lakes at Fonthill.
