Western Washington’s wine outpost is in Woodinville, a charming town just a 30-minute drive from downtown Seattle. There are more than 100 wineries and tasting rooms pouring there (including Chateau Ste. Michelle, the state’s first winery), ensuring something for every palate.

Woodinville is a top destination for wine tasting and boasts 100+ wineries, including the famous Chateau St. Michele. Even if you don't like wine, the Chateau is worth visiting for it's beautiful grounds and summer concert series.

Woodinville is the hot spot of Washington wine tasting. Satellite tasting rooms from Walla Walla have sprouted like mushrooms. Besides the stalwarts Chateau Ste. Michelle and Columbia, Woodinville is now home to over 140 wineries, wine bars & tasting rooms, and hosts several large wine-tasting festivals like Passport to Woodinville, St. Nicholas Day and Auction of Washington Wine.
