The Museum houses the famous fresco by Piero della Francesca of the Madonna del Parto (1455), depicted here in "sweet expectation" according to an unusual iconography in Italian art. Furthermore, a documentation illustrating its restoration is shown. This one painting museum is definitely worth visiting.
