You can walk right out of the building and up the hill via Rogers Road, turn right just past Rogers School and take the path to the right and you will come to a sign that designates the park. You can hike up to a viewpoint on top, and look over the city scape!

Nice walk around the lake where you can spot wildlife such as swans, ducks and geese, turtles, fish, frogs, and check out the nature centre.

Beautiful place to go for a walk and also to learn about our local ecosystem! Kid friendly! Local tip: $1 for a bag of seed to feed the wild ducks at the gift shop.

Beautiful spot to spend half a day. The Nature House offers exhibits on nature (by donation) and has a small gift shop and snack selection. At the shop, you can buy duck food to take down to the boardwalk. The ducks and geese will swim up and take the food from you often right from your hands. There are several trails and boardwalks that meander thru various natural areas. Often they will host local and free events which are always well done.
