The dunes in Schoorl are quite high and there is also excellent mountainbike trails here. Hiking and normal cycling is also very popular. I would recommend driving here because it is a bit too far to cycle and there is not a good connection for public transportation. If you wish to mountain bike on the famous Schoorl course there are many places where you can rent mountain bikes right in the town of Schoorl.
