The only way to truly see Alaska is by airplane. Rust's flying service is one of the best air taxi's located out of Lakehood. They offer a variety of different tours and adventures.

Flying is a great way to get around. Spend a few hours in the air and see Knik arm, Lake George, and surrounding glaciers. Rust's can take you pretty much anywhere depending on your agenda. The photo is my former 180 on floats. She's been sold but airplanes are a way of life up here.

Rust's is the largest float plane sight-seeing operator on Lake Hood and they have been around a long time. Good safety record, competitive prices, lots of options for tours starting around $200/pp

For fishing or flightseeing out of Anchorage this is your company. The Rusts have been around for 60+ years and they do Alaska right.

Rust's flying service is the premier operator of Alaska Flightseeing Tours and Alaska Day Tours in Anchorage, AK. They are family-owned and Lake Hood's oldest and largest seaplane operator. They have build their successes on many long-established relationships with the Alaska community.
