The National Trust owned Rinsey Cove is positioned in the lee of Rinsey head, between Praa Sands and Porthleven. It is fairly remote and somewhat off the beaten track meaning it is very rarely busy. At low tide there is a lovely little sandy beach here although it all but disappears towards high tide. It is also a bit of a scramble down to the beach. This stretch of coast is quite exposed to powerful swells so given the remoteness and lack of lifeguard cover care should be taken if you fancy a dip.

Hidden gem! Off the beaten track so usually quiet and secluded. When we first discovered this cove we felt as though we had travelled to a distant tropical shore- wonderful for natural pools to explore with caves to peek in and great for a wild swim! Please note: downhill to reach with a Little bit of rock scrambling, may not suit very small children as the climb back up might tire little legs!

Beautiful beach just East of Praa Sands There is a small car park above the beach, but it does tend to fill up early in summer. It is quite a steep walk down the the beach, and involves a bit of a scramble at the bottom A lovely 30m - 1hr walk from Godolphin Cottage, just head east on the coast path. Keep an eye open for Choughs ( the bird on the Cornish coat of arms), several pairs nest in the area
