Perfect for exploring, camping, pedaling, walking and stopping to take advantage of the spectacular viewpoints and trails without losing sight of the birds. The most important green extension of the urban area, and very popular among its inhabitants, goes up to the eastern edge of Quito and offers breathtaking views of the Cumbayá Valley. It consists of four sectors: parking and playgrounds; the eucalyptus forest; an area without trees, with large-scale sculptural installations; and picnic areas. Visitors enjoy its many hiking and cycling routes, home of the handsome Carpenter Dorsiescarlata and other birds.
