Regardless of race, language, religion, and social status, anyone can visit The Singapore Buddhist Lodge and Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery for free vegetarian fare. It is inherent in Buddhism to be giving, so most temples offer food to people who walk in, but these two locations are more picturesque than most and deserve a visit. Remember to be respectful to the culture here and to leave a donation if you can.

About 30% of Singapore's multi religious community is Buddhist. I was once a Buddhist, a Protestant, a Catholic, and now a free thinker. Religious beliefs in Singapore follows a really strange path.
