This is yet another Maine adventure in shopping. They buy close-outs and sell at a fraction of original cost. You could go and fine nothing or you could get a designer handbag at 90% off. It is for bargain hunters. Lots of hardware, clothing shoes, food, furniture, sporting goods.

Lots of tourists seem to shop here. They buy salvaged items or overstocked items. You can find anything from DNK or Calvin Klein, shoes galore, to flashlights and cheap sunglasses!

It’s a surplus and salvage, they often get merch from high end stores going out of business. You have to hunt, but you never know what will be there. There are several Marden's stores throughout the state. Their slogan , "I should have bought it when I saw it, at Marden's".

I have found so many incredible bargains: -Ugg and Muck boots for less than $100 -Rebecca Minkoff and Tumi bags for less than $125 -Calloway and Ping golf clubs -Le Creuset dutch oven -Marc Jacobs jackets Basically they get random shipments of awesome stuff. They send out emails, so sign up now.
