Located behind the Tahoe Donner lodge, you can literally roll out of bed and walk to the lifts! An excellent resort for beginners and children. Grab some food and a drink at the bar, or head back to the cabin for a break before hitting the slopes again!

Known in the Lake Tahoe region as the “best place to begin.” Three carpet lifts and world-class instructional staff make it a great place for learning to ski or ride. It is a relaxed, family-friendly environment with lots of fun special events.

The Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort is just down the street (you can see if from our driveway) and is an amazing place for families with young ones just learning, or adults who would rather enjoy a low key relaxed environment over the crowds at the bigger resorts.
