About a mile away, an historic old tavern that smells of wood fires and history; great food. Pizzas and tapas in the tavern, fancier items in the dining areas. The prices are reasonable. They do a good job accomodating families with young children as well as a romantic couple.

Located directly across the street from the Residences is the Winsor House inn. Features an antique and inviting bar, indoor and outdoor seating including firepit with full gourmet menu.
