This is a local food chain that serves Indonesian food from various regions in Indonesia. It is affordable and excellent tasting. Try getting Sate Ayam, Lontong Sayur, Nasi Liwet and other menu that catches your eyes. You might also find this restaurant at Malls such as Grand Indonesia.

You can't substitute street food. But if you're not ready for it, Sate Khas Senayan is a legendary restaurant serving some of the best chicken sate in the city since the 60s. They've since expanded with several branches around the city and offer a variety of Indonesian dishes beyond nasi goreng and mie goreng. You can't beat the original location.
