This famous 'student' café is located on Dagenraadplaats. It's quite big ! When the weather is nice, the terrace is the hotspot for the neighbourhood. If you want to mingle with the locals this is probably a good place.

local bar with a huge terrace on a square (Dageraadplaats) with a playground, large beer selection, many neighbourhood regulars. Open until late they serve a few cheap dishes (lasagna, soups, croque monsieurs, ...)
