Along with Minnesota Point, reportedly make up the largest freshwater sandbar in the world. There are 8 Lake Superior beaches within the City of Superior and 5 beaches located in rural outskirting areas

Much better beach experience!!! Way less people, the way the wind blows all the firewood is blown up on shore over there. water is warmer due to being shallower farther out. WAY less people!!!!
