Steve Matthiasson makes some of the best wines in Napa, with a slightly different approach -- you'll see varieties, and even styles of familiar varietals, that are a bit different from what you normally find in Napa. Matthiasson Winery is gem of place that offers an educational yet relaxed tasting. Steve Matthiasson is a farmer that turned winemaker in 2007 and has since had a cult following by wine lovers, industry folks, and restauranter's - by appointment only.
