Great pub in the former vet school. Local beer brewed and local gin stilled here!

Serving up beer and gin brewed/distilled right on site. Located in the cultural/artsy Summerhall hub, which is always hosting something exciting, particularly during the Fringe. Less than a 5 minute walk from the flat.

This used to be the veterinary school and adjoins the excellent arts venue, Summerhall. Great character and good food and drink menus.

Hidden behind Summerhall (go through the main building) and in a courtyard at the back is the Royal Dick (in former Animal hospital) Great beer brewed on the premises and a gin distillery too. Food available. Quirky and fun.

Lovely bar with outside seating area and unusual decor left over from its former life as a veterinary college!
