Great tacos right in West Tampa! Note at this time it is cash only and no liquor, which means no tequila. The quaint setting with eclectic decor, fun Mexican theme while enhancing the character of the old building, is very intimate and inviting. It was a must to start with the Guacamole Catrinas to see what the hype was all about. Wow! The grilled shrimp and pomegranate seeds are a pleasantly happy surprise, adding so much flavor. Delicious! The kitchen is an open concept, no surprises, the food is freshly made to order. The mixed fajitas are so good and plenty to share. Highly recommend the molcajete. Both fresh, well prepared and tasty. The chef suggests the homemade hot sauces, the mango habanero is spot on, so good, the perfect touch to your meals. The homemade fresh corn tortillas are so good, I actually eat more than I should, worth it. The chef often prepares unique plates, with fresh fish or pork, both are oh so good! The staff is attentive, shares menu ideas and extremely appreciative.
