Beautiful campus located near the forest. It's a great place to take a long walk.

Graduation in June, or other times of the year to visit students or attend reunions, workshops, and special events. Very close by, within biking distance. Bus service on main road near studio to TESC.

Strange to imagine walking around a college campus but Evergreen is situated on more than 1,000 acres of forest. It includes a large network of trails leading to the college’s Organic Farm, serene forested areas, and a beach on the Puget Sound. Three bucks to park for the day or find a meter.

I work at Evergreen and love the trail to the beach. It's a very accessible local trail that's green, wooded, and lovely. If you're looking for an easier local hike I'd go here. Search for 'evergreen beach trail' on the Washington Trails Association site to find how to get to it.
