25min walk or a short bus ride to the wharf. Scenic ferry trip to the City. No city parking worries. Great photos from here. Café on the wharf.

Ferry to and from Downtown Auckland (via Northcote Point) from here - only 7 doors down (and a small park green). Taking the ferry is a scenic, peaceful change from the hectic mayhem that often comes with commuting. It's also a great way to explore the beautiful islands of the Hauraki Gulf. You arrive at the Downtown Ferry Terminal - next to the Britomart Transport Centre; ferry passengers can easily change to a bus or train for further transport. Fares are $4.50 each way with an AT (Auckland Transport) HOP card. Otherwise single fares are approximately $6.
