On River Road, this is one of the campgrounds that offer a day pass (per, car). You can set up your chairs right along the river. There is a spring for the little ones to float (when it's not dry), a cliff to jump off of, and a fun rapid you can go over. I think you can rent tubes here as well. It has public bathrooms and a general store if you need snacks or drinks. They are a camp ground for cabins, RVs, and tents but several people just drive their cars here and spend the day along the rivers edge.
