I am reluctant to mention this place as I love it and don't want to share it, but that is selfish. Have a look around the art gallery but then head upstairs to the café. In my opinion in the top two of best coffee in Llandudno. Noting particularly special food wise but it is certainly acceptable and if you want to escape the usual touristy places on the high street this is a good place to start. Have a look in the shop on your way out.

There's more to MOSTYN than its reputation as the foremost contemporary gallery and visual arts centre in Wales. Behind an impressive Edwardian terracotta facade, and topped with a landmark gold spire, in the traditional seaside town of Llandudno, the original turn of the century galleries are merged with stunning modern spaces in an award-winning architectural design. Based in Llandudno, it has a cafe and gift shop. Llandudno has connections to Alice In Wonderland, and you will see this if you visit... look out for the wood carvings of characters about the town
