If you fancy a good canal walk towards Hackney with pubs and lots of house boats to gaze at along the way head to this park and while facing the canal turn right (east)... Walk for about 20 minutes to the Anchor and Hope pub for a drink, You can then come back on the other side of the canal and walk through Walthamstow wetlands to end your walk with a pint at the 100 year old ferry boat inn pub. Will take about 1 - 3 hours depending on how many stops you make and how many drinks you have! Good taste of London's urban beauty!

Beautiful local park, 10 minutes' walk. Nice cafe and historical beam engine museum. Next to the river lea and a few minutes' walk from the Hackney and Walthamstow Marshes.
