It's started by Frank Carroll who is well known for being an Olympic Gold Medal coach. He taught Michelle Kwan, Linda Sue and many more! During your trip to the desert you can train with the best! Desert Ice Castle is an ice skating that was opened in 2011, in Cathedral City, CA. The Desert Ice Castle features an indoor NHL regulation-sized rink with seating for 150 people. It is opened year round and is the only rink within an 80 minute drive of the desert. When the temperatures hit triple digits, come cool off with skating for entire family! Ice skating sessions for the public are one of the main attractions at Desert Ice Castle. Sessions are available 7 days a week. Figure Skating, Ice Hockey, Birthday Parties, Summer Camps and more... The coolest fun in the desert!

Yes. There is Ice Skating in the desert. In fact, Cathedral City has the only indoor Ice Skating facility in the Coachella Valley. What better way to stay active in the summer time yet stay cool.
