Delicious home-cooked dishes, recently refurbished. Booking recommended. Alkham, 5 minute's drive. Dog friendly 2023: Best pub in Kent - The National Pub & Bar Award. Alkham, Dover CT15 7DF | Try their sibling pubs….The Tiger Inn, Stowting | The Kings Arms, Elham. Well worth the leafy drive.

This is a ‘special treat’ pub of restaurant quality - we went their for our wedding anniversary.. yum! They welcome children and dogs. 🐾🐾 We have printed off instructions as to how to walk there without using the main road; it is a stunning walk but with steep hills and I would allow an hour to get there. The walk can be ‘circular’ so you can take a different route back.

Just a 10 minute drive away. Nestled in the heart of Kent’s picturesque village of Alkham, between Folkestone and Dover is the Marquis Of Granby, with it’s original beams and roaring fires you will lose yourself in the history of this 200 year old village pub, real ales, craft beers, cracking wine and freshly prepared home cooked food.
