Sylvan Lake is beautiful. Even when it is too cold to swim, the hiking and sightseeing around this area are not to be missed

Beautiful view of Sylvan Lake from the lodge veranda. Sylvan Lake was featured in the movie, "National Treasure". Near Black Elk Peak trailheads and Custer State Park entrance.

Sylvan Lake Lodge is Custer State Park's "crown jewel." You can also swim at Sylvan Lake and hike to Harney Peak on trails that start from the lodge.

Fantastic cuisine; amazing views. Don't forget to stop down by the lake for a stroll before driving Peter Norbeck Scenic Byway (Needles Highway) which starts right near this lodge. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Bar.
