The botanical garden of Padua has just been restored and it's one of the best in Italy. Entrance is from the beautiful Prato della Valle square. Worth a visit if you're in town few days.

It is the oldest university scientific garden in the world to have maintained its original location: founded in 1545, since 1997 it is on the UNESCO list of World Heritage sites. For sure a magnificent place to visit!
