Newcomb Hollow is the nearest ocean beach. As it was when Thoreau walked here. Guests are allowed a parking sticker at the Wellfleet beach sticker office. You will need to order the sticker in advance on the Wellfleet town web site. You will need your car registration and a printout of your booking to confirm you're a guest in Wellfleet.

Northern-most town of Wellfleet ocean beach. Parking pass required. Easiest walk down to ocean (compared to other town beaches)

Easiest access to beach--has the lowest dunes and gentlest slopes to beach, and a large parking lot. Beach sticker required from 9 to 5 during summer season.
