Another local dive bar with cheap drinks. The shuffle board game is the highlight of the bar. About a 15 minute walk from home.

Beer and a shot joint with something like 4th generation of family running the place; pronounced HOEtz (bastardized version of the acronym Heart of the Southside) this is classic Tremont. Babe Ruth draink beers here 100 years ago (they have his signature of check he used to pay)

Hotz Café is a Tremont institution, and is only 100 yards away, left out of the front gate with a right on West 10th. Family owned and operated by the Hotz family for over 100 years, this is as much a part of Cleveland as those big, beautiful steel mills! Nothing fancy here, cold beers and a nice selection of liquor for shots is the standard fare, with a game of shuffleboard on Ohio’s oldest table recommended.

Family owned for generations. Quaint location, friendly staff treats guests like family. Shuffleboard is vintage and fun!
