The trail goes alongside the beautiful beach, and then ends up at The Spit, with a lighthouse and a cafe and a good surfing beach.

This is a very treed beautiful walk from the Southport Surf Club north parallel to the beach. Park near the Club or park further north near the Sheraton Hotel. It will take you about 45mins to reach the Spit where you can enjoy what the Seaway has to offer. Beautiful views, cafe and fishing. Huge off leash dog area on the beach.

This is one of our favourite walks. Many people head to the mountains which are beautiful, but a lot of tourists visiting the Gold Coast miss this secret little place. A great walk from Main Beach to The Spit through bushland, right next to the beach! Stunning place!
