The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, most commonly referred to as Coachella, is one of the largest music festivals in world attracting over 100,000 visitors each weekend for two weekends annually at the 78-acre Empire Polo Club in the Southern California desert city of Indio. Past bands include Radiohead, The Pixies, Coldplay, Weezer, Rilo Kiley, Bright Eyes, The Cure, The Arcade Fire, Wilco, The Futureheads, The Faint, Snowpatrol, The Fiery Furnaces and many more. In addition to the well known groups playing Coachella, you’ll have the chance to discover new music from the many indie artists playing throughout the day.

Pack wine and a picnic for watching a casual day of polo. Polo season is January – April. Sunday Polo games are scheduled at 12:00 noon and 2:00 PM. Attire is casual. Dressy hats are fun but not expected or necessary. Take a blanket and pack a lunch for tailgating. General admission is free to all of the polo games. There is a $20 per car parking fee for General Admission and tailgating on Sundays. Food and beverage services are available during Sunday Polo. Tailgaters and General Admission Spectators are welcome to bring in their own chairs, sun umbrellas, blankets and picnic fare. Bleacher seating is also available in the General Admission area. Dogs are welcome on a leash. The entrance to the main Sunday Polo Field is located on Ave. 50th between Madison St. and Monroe St. Enter at GATE A for VIP seating and GATE B for General Admission and Tailgating. "Beware the steaming divot" - Pretty Woman This is also the location for the Coachella Music & Arts Festival and the Stagecoach Country Music Festival.
