just a short drive away, its very dominican with a many other nationalities living or visiting there. Try the restaurants on the beach, especially "the Star of the sea" Clara and Domingo are the owners very sweet local folk family owned, and clean bathroom for that beach, but primative too, so just know that! this is the real DR

Costambar beach is a really nice beach. I have a secret beach spot I always go to. Lots of locals go there.

Costambar se carcteriza por ser un proyecto tusristico con la mejor playa de Puerto Plata . Donde se respira un aire puro y de tranquilida , aqui encontraran bares , restaurantes , supermercado, ect.
