Nervets, risottos, stews, ossobuchi, minestrone, cutlets and vitel tonnè. Once upon a time, Signora Modesta's plates were for Pirelli workers. With his son Mario came the artists and musicians of a Milan in turmoil. Now with Leopoldo and Giorgia and the proximity of the University and companies, the patrons have become managers and professors. The recipes have been revisited, but their imprint is still the same.

Trattoria Arlati is specialized in the Milan cousine, an hystoric traditional restaurant open since 1936. Famous for the sautéed risotto and the milan breaded cutlet. Excellent wine selection, it is possible to eat in the old cellar. Reservation recommended.
