Temecula is considered the golf mecca of Southern California due to its wide variety of golf courses. There are 7 golf courses in Temecula and another 21 courses within 20 miles of Temecula. The longest and most challenging course is The Journey at Pechanga. The following courses have also won various awards and are some of the best that I have played: Temecula Creek, Bear Creek, RedHawk, and CrossCreek. SCGA is about 1 mile away and the closest. I have enjoyed playing at all of them !
