It's a pity to be Shakespeare's hometown and miss his sweetheart's and wife's cottage! Nine acres of gardens and grounds to explore including a lavender maze, a woodland walk, the Shakespeare arboretum and a living willow cabin where you may listen to some of Shakespeare's sonnets.

The most beautiful thatched cottage belonging to Shakespeare's mother. Beautifully restored and a must see. Events are held throughout the year, most famously its 'Apple Day'.
