Wonderful local fruits and vegetables and amazing local mussels in the back corner . The organic flavored Pistachios are great gifts from Santa Barbara as are local honeys and preserves. I go every Saturday morning- not to be missed!

Don't miss the farmer's market, Friday's on Coast Village Road, Saturday on the corner of Cota and Santa Barbara Street and on State Street, Tuesday's starting at 3:30PM. World-class local organic produce, cheeses, eggs, pasture-raised meats and local wild-caught fish.

The Farmer's Market in SB are well known. There is one on East Cota and Santa Barbara Street on Saturday from 8-1pm. You can get great organic produce. When in season get the organic strawberries or the Cherimoya fruit. SB area is one of the few places in the States where Cherimoya is grown and it's has a creamy custard texture and the flavors resemble pear/banana and magic. They are delicious and usually in season from January to May. There's also great local seafood at this market including local mussels, oysters and lobster. If you can't make the Saturday one there's another one on Tuesday evenings from 3-7pm on State Street.
