This is a great sushi spot with local flare. They recently remodeled and I love how open and fun it is now. They have great cocktails, great sushi specials, and great Cal/Japanese items other than sushi, as well. I am a fan of their Lychee Martini and sitting at their window to people watch along Abbot Kinney.

A skinny storefront refashioned into a Matsuhisa-derived sushi bar/Pacific Rim dinner house. Drop in for a big bowl of Cal-Asian style “bouillabaisse,” or linger through a multicourse meal of small plates (including standbys like miso-marinated cod or eggplant). But sushi, here, is the real stunner — which, given the prices, it should be. Don’t miss the lobster roll.

Beautiful and yummy sushi. Happy hour daily 5:30-6:30. Very kid friendly if you have that kind of kid who loves sushi!

Great sushi and super friendly staff. Go early for a kid friendly happy hour or later for good drinks and star sightings.
