Now called River Run Lodge: We highly recommend River Run and suggest linking up to their FB page before your trip, so you can check when they will be open, before you take the slightly spooky drive to Strathblane (just 10mins from Dover) - the RR team makes a point to showcase local Dover seafood and Tasmanian produce in general, plus the drinks are a little bit fancy (try the signature Gin Fizz), and the ambiance is fantastic, especially in these cooler months with a roaring fire inside!

The tavern is open on weekends with lovely food and a great ambience. They also have music on occasions. Get in touch with them to check their hours.
