One of the oldest cinemas in the north of England, stand for the National Anthem prior to the film, take a mug of the into the cinema. Great chip shop opposite too

This is alternative cinema, it tends to show older films, however it's independently run. The tickets are cheap, you get a proper mug of tea which is reasonably priced and everyone stands to the National Anthem before the film starts.
